At YourSchoolAid (YSA), we believe every child deserves the opportunity to excel — not just in the classroom, but in confidence, creativity, and character. This belief inspired the launch of our Maiden Excellence Reward Program, an initiative designed to celebrate hardworking students and ignite a spirit of healthy academic competition across our partner schools.
This year marks a transformative moment for students and teachers in the Konongo municipality as YSA formally introduced this annual award scheme. It is more than an event — it is a movement to uplift young learners, encourage consistency in their studies, and nurture future leaders poised to impact their communities and the nation.
A Mission to Motivate, Inspire, and Uplift
The YSA Excellence Reward Program was created with a simple yet powerful mission: to reward best-performing students across schools registered on the YourSchoolAid platform. By recognizing effort and achievement, YSA aims to strengthen student engagement, boost academic performance, and promote a culture where education is celebrated and excellence is possible for every child.
Our maiden edition featured students from five partner schools:
- Konongo Methodist A
- Konongo Methodist B
- Konongo Urban Council
- Saint Gabriels R/C
- Nobewam Presby
Outstanding students from each school were honoured with a variety of educational supplies — including pens, pencils, rulers, exercise books, sketchpads, crayons, paint brushes, poster colors, and more. These items are not only tools for learning, but symbols of belief, encouragement, and possibility.

By bridging education and sustainability, we aim to raise environmentally conscious leaders ready to contribute positively to Ghana’s future.
